Airship Wreckage - A Public Scavenger Hunt
« on: December 23, 2018, 02:41:23 PM »
Folk talk of the badly damaged gnomish airship that recently crash-landed in the Belt of Battledale. Now that the dust has settled and it's been revealed that no Dalesmen were hurt in the crash, the crew have put out an appeal for anyone who finds any debris that may have fallen from their ship in their scramble across the Dales should collect it up and return it to them for a reward!

This is a special week(ish) long event for the holidays - log in whenever you want and wander around the server collecting special Airship Wreckage items hidden (and not so hidden) around the server. You may exchange these later in the week with me (DM Eredruie) for special gifts!

Please note that there is a limit of THREE Airship Wreckage items per PLAYER to allow everyone to get a fair shot at finding these, so if you find three of these on a character please don't collect any more! You will not be rewarded for extras! Can't find three, or want to spread out your collection over several chracters? That's fine! You'll still get a gift if you collect one or two Airship Wreckage items - just remember the limit is three per PLAYER not character.

This scavenger hunt will end at the New Year so get exploring!  8)

Any questions, hit me up in Discord!

edit: To help out your fellow players, you may want to reply to this thread with the names of areas you collected your items in, that way they can go hunting in other areas :)

The Huntsman Einar has found airship wreckage in the following locations:

Mosstrunks - Dark Road (East)
Snareblood Tribe
Ghosthold Manor

He isn't entirely sure why he's lugging it around, but it looks shiny and potentially valuable. If someone wants it back, they'd better have a good reward in mind...
But just think how cute he will look with a little saddle and stirrups.

This is going to be finishing this week when the server resets, so if you haven't collected your pieces get in-game soon!

I'll be handling redeeming wreckage for special gifts later this week/this weekend :)

The event finished on Friday with the server reset - I'll be catching people in-game over the next week or two with rewards :)
