A new dawn for the Guild of Alchemists
« on: December 27, 2018, 10:44:49 AM »
The Essembran Guild of Alchemists, having undergone a trying few years since their founding, announce that, following the betrayal of Melsany Trinder and the flight of Ermyc Norwood, that they have restructured their organisation.

Gone are the days of a singular Guildmaster and senior practitioners able to do as they please unchecked - to deadly effect. The guild shall now be self-administered by its own members as peers; with important matters put to vote. While some members have recognised expertise in some areas, this lends the creation of the Guild Representative role - a specialist member whose task it is to liaise with adventurers, merchants, and political dignitaries for the benefit of the Guild.

It is announced that the Oghmanite Clandery has been voted into this position currently. Essembrans who care for news like this seem content with this appointment, for Clandery had been one of the adventurers working hard to right the wrongs of Melsany Trinder and restore the reputation of the Guild as a place of knowledge and craft rather than betrayal and subterfuge.

Alongside this announcement, the Guild notes that it remains open and welcoming to new members interested in the art and science of brewing potions, and that interested parties may speak with Clandery to learn more.
"Just like old times. Well, except for the torture and all."
