A Candle in the Dark

Balthus and Herkimer disappeared from the ruin that night, while the adventurers made their way back along the stream to Peldan's Helm. Fortunately, no one questioned whether they'd found Balthus - not even in Ashabenford itself - for most anticipated someone proudly carrying the grey knight's severed head through town to herald his demise and claim what was a truly handsome reward.

Away from Mistrans and bounty hunters alike, the fugitive and his warden began their search for the mysterious candle, though there was no telling whether anyone else was undertaking the same search, or, indeed, if they would be friend or foe...

In the fields and copses of Mistledale, the dead grew restless.


OOC: The undead troubles of Mistledale, the hunt for Balthus the Grey, and the search for a mysterious candle will continue on:

Saturday 15th October, at 8pm British time

The IC lead-in will appear closer to the event itself, this is just here now for OOC scheduling/date saving! :)

Note that previous participants are welcome encouraged to share information gained so far with others, and to bring others in. This is not a 'closed' quest.

A messenger in Ashabenford, and another in Essembra, quietly seek out the people aware of Herkimer's charge. They bring news that the duo have discovered a fairly solid lead, but they require the aid of others.
