Lateu'quaor & Consecrating the Shrine
« on: September 21, 2011, 03:45:24 PM »
Once per month upon the crescent moon, Corellon's children gather under moonlight to celebrate and gives thanks to him in a festival known as Lateu'quaor; the Communion of the Crescent Moon.  Such festivals often involve a grand display of music, song, and dance, played out to the joy of praising the Protector.  Devotees to Corellon will offer up their most beautiful creations in hopes that such works of art will be taken to Arvandor where they will be admired and marveled at by the spirits there.

This lunar cycle bears with it a special occassion; the acknowledging of a new shrine!  By decree of those loyal and devoted Elves who have tirelessly overseen the reconstruction of the old outpost within the Tangled Vale, the shrine there shall be consecrated by one of Corellons Feywardens.  This event not only marks the shrine as a beacon to the Coronal, but to all the Seldarine, and all The People who struggle to make the forest safe once more by way of their devotion under tribulation.  Let us come together in sweet song and light laughter and together celebrate this Lateu'quaor with the same vigor, that same good spirit, that pushes us forward through all hardship.

The ceremony will begin when next the crescent moon reaches its full height in the night sky.  Please join us in thanking Corellon for his continued protection and guidance.

-Leidrith Luvon, Feywarden of Corellon
